This is followed by a mock exam, which is very similar in structure and design to the actual B1 exam. There are then some collections of articles about France and French culture, which are helpful for the production parts of the exam. So just like the exam, the book balances the four key areas. There is a brief section on the B1 syllabus, followed by about 30 pages on oral comprehension, about another 30 pages on written comprehension, the same amount for writing production and the same for oral production. The content is full colour on glossy paper, so it has the 'feel' of a good quality text book. I do wish that the CD content was made available online as an MP3 - as it's always a hassle copying the CD audio to a computer! It is about A4 size and contains almost 200 pages, with a CD on the inside back cover. Les deux premiers manuels de prparation au DELF B1 Tout Public prsents ci-dessous sont de nouvelles ditions (dition 2021). The book is entirely in French but if you are at the start of B1 you are probably used to that by now, as unlike a GCSE or A-Level, the DELF exams are entirely in french. Ces trois livres traitent les quatres comptences de l’examen du DELF B1 Tout Public : CO (comprhension orale), CE (comprhension crite), PE (production crite) et PO (production orale). This book, and the series that it comes from, is perhaps the 'gold standard' for anyone sitting a DEFL exam.
